X4521. Expl. Dept. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rn {Mr Robinson} 2/MJ. Jan. 22nd, 1930. Messrs. H.M. Hobson Ltd., 47 - 55, Acton Vale, LONDON W.3. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Major Searight. We are sending you herewith the telegauge head off the Prince of Wales' car 115-WJ. Superficially it appears that the trouble may be due to a leak at the bottom of the tube. We can detect nothing wrong with the installation but there may have been some fault of which we are not aware, and we shall therefore await your report on the head with interest. Since it started off its life correctly, it is rather difficult to attribute failure to anything other than a leak. Yours faithfully, For Rolls-Royce Ltd. | ||
