Re Chassis No.119-MC.

Answering your note A/W5/CM21.9.28 concerning the Lucas magneto No.55 from Mr. Minchin's car, which was sent to us about 15.5.28, we are not quite clear as to the information you wish to have.

As we understand the matter, this Lucas machine was taken from Mr. Minchin's car and sent to us for our inspection only, this being Mr. Minchin's private property. After making the necessary examination we returned this magneto to the Lucas Co. (as requested by Mr. Minchin).

So far as we understand, no repairs were effected, and we presume that the standard magneto originally on this car would be re-fitted when the Lucas machine was removed.

We shall be pleased to supply any further information if required.
