Ignition Plug Terminals and Covers.

We should like to try on 2.S.1. for test in France, a set of sparking plug terminals and covers similar to the model made up by Mr Toobey and which is returned to you herewith.

We are not quite sure whether it will be possible to use the skirted cover for reasons of accessibility but we should like this point proved out and accordingly we think that we should try out both schemes as follows:-

Use 12 terminals exactly as the model (six inside the Vee and six outside).

Use 12 terminals with skirts as on LEC.3958 but with .150" removed from the skirt (making the overall length of the cover 2.100") so that they will go in the existing cylinder heads when using the approved Lodge sparking plug - type RL.14. Six of these covers with skirts should be tried inside the Vee and six outside, and the covers should have two ventilation holes each.
