Alterations to chassis pedal travel and feedback on a new single plate clutch.

we are writing this memo, because we think it advisable to ask for No. (3) at a time when it is easier to make alterations to the chassis. We do not see why the pedal travel should not be as great as on the Phantom. By increasing the travel of the clutch pedal, that of the brake pedal goes up also. No-one will dispute the advantages to be gained in this direction.

P.S. Since writing this we have been able to try the new SpectreCodename for Phantom III single plate clutch on the road, and can confirm that with an overall ratio of 66 to 1 the pedal effort to de-clutch is very light, but that the clutch does not free sufficiently for first or reverse gears to be engaged.
