With reference to your EF2/T4.6.28. in which you state you are anxious to have the result of the inspection of starter motor gears on the above car. The gear ring on the flywheel was burred in three places. These burrs did not appear to have been due solely to the engagement of starter pinion, but due to the rubbing action of starter pinion as it was just on the point of disengaging after engine had started.
