| G.W. Hancock, Esq., Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, France. X250 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}11/KW.14.7.34. 3½ Litre Bentley in Belgium, B-B8-AH. Attached is copy of a note we have had from Hanbury (H22/MC13.7.34) and the Tester's comments on the car (EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}4/MH.{M. Huckerby}13.7.34). We have arranged for some 6" India tyres to be sent out to you. You can doubtless find some bad bits of pave quite close to Chateauroux, and recommend the best compromise for Belgian conditions when cars are fitted with controllable dampers. It is possible that the same compromise will interest Sr. in Paris. We attach a copy of our reply to H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Thank you for your report on the preliminary running of the car. We have noticed on Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}'s car that the rubber mounting has dropped somewhat at the back of the car and the two rubbers which take the torque have in consequence got out of line. We should like you to watch this. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
