16th July, 1934.

Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited,
DERBY.

Gentlemen,

For the attention of Mr. West.

We beg to confirm the writer's conversation with Mr. West on the telephone this afternoon when he informed him that we are arranging to despatch twenty-four type 836 plugs by express post of Thursday next. These plugs will have ball terminals.

As arranged when the writer visited you on Thursday last we are despatching under separate cover four-dozen assorted internal washers suitable for plugs of the 744 class and four dozen rolled copper external washers for 14 m/m plugs. We are also having a drawing made of our apparatus for testing plug centres under compressed air and we hope to send you this in the course of a few days.

As requested in your letter of July 12th - ref. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.3/MA - we are making up a further dozen plugs for Mr. Hall's "Bentley" and shall despatch these as soon as possible.

We are very anxious indeed that these plugs should be used for the race and if there is anything further we can do we trust you will let us know.

Yours faithfully,
p.p. K.L.G. SPARKING PLUGS LIMITED,

Director.
