When the car is on the maximum bump on one side at the rear and we get the side translation of the rear axle, the shock absorber bracket fouls the rear spring. We suggest that the type of shock absorber we use on the rear of the Goshawk (and the rear of the 40/50 H.P.) lends itself to be made in the scissor construction similar to the "Hartford". A shock absorber of this type of construction could be more easily fitted to the chassis and to have the necessary clearance.
