Total miles run since pistons fitted 4158 . Report:- Cylinders and pistons very heavily carbonised, and tendency to seize on top band of No.2 piston. One or two rings stick in groove, as noted by Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Engine re-built as dismantled except rings eased in grooves by paraffin only. No carbon removed from pistons or cylinders.
