Re 40/50 HP. Chassis - Exhaust Fittings - Sec;5230.

Silencer fitted with 20/25 HP. Baffles etc., and Patch for revised 5th. Crossmember, Continental Type.

Please receive herewith blue prints of the following new drawings detailed to Mr.Bailey's instructions for above.

E.86696 Silencer Shell replaces E.83450.
EE86697 Silencer Patch
E.86698 Silencer Assembly replaces E.86066.
E.86699 Outer Plate-Front Shield " E.86052.
E.86700 Lagging " " " E.86053.
E.86701 Inner Plate- " " " E.86054.

Please instruct up as required for experiment, along with remainder of parts to LOP. E.86092, except that Silencer Unit as a whole is to Assembly E.86698 and replaces Silencer Unit as called for on E.86066.

Baffles, Tubes and End Plates of Silencer are as used on 20/25 Silencer.
