With reference to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}12/E.17.6.35. we are taking up the question of introducing the larger steering wheel with thinner rim on production 20/25 HP. chassis, and will advise you as soon as possible at what point on production this change will take place. In regard to your request for a sample steering wheel with three spokes, we have now heard from the Dover people, and they inform us that they could rig up a wheel with 3 spokes, the centre portion of which would be suitable for fitting on our steering column but the spokes would be oval and not the inverted 'U' shape as per our present standard. If you wish to have one of these wheels we would arrange to obtain same as soon as possible. BY/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
