In reply to your memo. By {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /C11/H251124., we called for a bakelite moulding on the original scheme and our idea was that the tube should be moulded on its side so as to be withdrawable from a split die, and that the core portion should be got away in two pieces, one from each end, that is to say, the elbow portion would withdraw on a curved axis from the elbow end, and the straight portion would withdraw from the straight end, sufficient taper being allowed on the core to effect this operation. Perhaps you would kindly reconsider whether this part can be made as a bakelite moulding on these lines, and let us know. E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
