Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}2/M.15.2.37. 6 BIV We are sending out new big ends and connecting rods complete for your fitting in this car. Three of the big ends are in AC5S and three in AC6S. This material is almost the same composition as standard Hall's metal but with a little Silicon in order to raise the hardness figure to stop hammering out. When you have run the car and confirmed they are O.K. will you please return the RR.56 big ends and rods complete. Investigations have been carried out with regard to improving the oil pump priming failure after braking. This has been cured and we are sending a modified pump out to you. When you have received this will you please return the existing pump. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} | ||
