To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} re Overheating. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}9/E21.10.30 RECEIVED 22 OCT 1930 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Handwritten notes: H/S X7250. x5250. x760. Referring to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/MJ.18.10.30 and former correspondence as the modification of indenting the tube seems to be a very simple one and the results extraordinarily good, I was wondering whether this was not a case where we could agree without risk to the modification being embodied in production at the very earliest possible moment without waiting for standardisation for completion. I am assuming that the indentations can easily be added to existing stocks of tubes. I should like to have your advice and recommendation on this subject. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
