C O P Y. ELMER S. PRATHER, 18, RUE DE LONDRES, BRUSSELS. July 13th. 1925 Messrs.Rolls Royce Ltd. 14-15 Conduit Street, London W.l. England. Dear Sirs, Replying to yours of the 15th. of June reference Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}17/BM/15625., I note that you have not yet had time to make a test of the five gallons of Caspar Oil sent to you some time ago. I suggest that you keep this Oil until you find it convenient to submit it to a rigid test, and I may add that I think it would be to your companys interest to satisfy themselves concerning the merits of Caspar Oil. I am at present using it in my own Rolls Royce and I must say that I find Caspar the most remarkable lubricant I have ever used. Last week after completing a mileage of 1700 miles I drained the crank case, and found the oil in most excellent condition. With all due respect to Price's Oil, I found it better than other purely mineral oil, but after 1700 miles with Price's Oil, the lubricating qualities were not nearly so good as those shown by Caspar Oil in the same mileage. Again, the motor performs much better upon Caspar Oil and I trust, therefore that you will find time to make a test of the five gallons which I have supplied to you. Respectfully Yours, ESP/GM. | ||
