S/W. To EFC. 3-30 23/9/26 x8783d1 PN{Mr Northey}4/EH.22.9.26. Battery Ignition Contact Points; Mr. Sydney's Car. In reply to your EFC2/T14.8.26., this gentleman came to see me recently, and appeared to be in a very happy state of mind with regard to both the reduced wear and tear on his ignition points, and a device which he has fitted enabling him to tell when his battery will require charging. What the methods are which he is employing I do not know; I also do not intend to stir him up; he is much more pleasant unstirred. A little later, however, when he will be coming to see me at my house I will get to know more about his matter. Meanwhile, we need not worry about any modification of his ignition power. P.N.
