82924. To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/MJ.9.11.34. We should like to suggest that we have our meeting on Tuesday to discuss a programme for the production of Experimental pieces. On Monday I propose going to the R.A.E. In order to have something to talk round I give a list below of the new Experimental Chassis, Engines, and Parts which we require within the next six months - (1) 6 Complete SpectreCodename for Phantom III Chassis and usual rebuilds. (2) 3 P.V.12 Engines with Ramp Head. (3) 4 Kestrel Engines with Ramp Head and Two-Speed Superchargers etc. (4) 2 Complete Vulture Engines. (5) 4 Single Cylinder Engine Units (Universal Sleeve Valve High Power 'EXE'). (6) Dragless Engine Mounting. (7) Rebuild of P.V.G.1 with new crankcase. (8) 3 Sets of Installation Parts including Cowling, Radiators, and Exhaust Systems. (9) 2 R.R. V.P. Propellers. (10) 2 S.U. Carburetters for Kestrel Engines. (11) Wraith. (12) Exhaust Driven Supercharger. My sole anxiety is to ensure that we do everything possible to keep the promises we have made to the aircraft constructors and at the same time not sacrifice the improvements on the motor cars.
