Re. PHANTOM I. EXHAUST MANIFOLD.

The failures of Phantom I. exhaust manifolds were consistent during the 10,000 miles tests, and although improvements were made from time to time, we did not obtain an entirely reliable manifold.

However a lot of further knowledge has been obtained with the Phantom II. and 25 HP. manifolds with the result that W.W. have now given us a design of manifold for Phantom I. which should stand up for a considerable time. The manifold has yet to be fully tested out before we can produce it for depots' but we are hoping to get the job through with as little delay as possible.
