SPECTRECodename for Phantom III - Rear Axle Casing.
Herewith is N.Sch.4273 showing the application of "Perfect" oil seals to the axle driving shaft in the same way as recently done for Bentley.
The two seals and covers are identical in this case. The drain holes between the centre casing and the axle tubes require eliminating, and also the slot for machining the bridge face requires closing on the lines now being developed for Bentley. These we are leaving to BY's Department.
