W.A. Robotham Esq.
Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.
Derby.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

I have been much interested in the various reports which Mr. Bowrey has submitted after his interviews with you.

There are three minor points on which I would like to learn of your experience in connection with thinner oils:-

(1) Do you find noise has increased, especially of the valves?

(2) Is there a bigger consumption on the one shot lubricator?

(3) Do you find any tendency to clutch slip?

I take this opportunity of thanking you for the courteous attention which you have extended to our Mr. Bowrey.

I am hoping before long to be in the neighbourhood of Derby - perhaps next week - and would like to call upon you but I would advise you more exactly in due course.

Yours sincerely,

A.{Mr Adams} Duckham
