GOSHAWK 11. "B" TYPE PEDALS. X.4267

We investigated the present position of the "B" pedals, and Mr. Royce does not want at present to make any alteration to the angle or position of the footboards, but would like to try a much simpler alteration, namely, slightly altering the angle of the pedal plates and shifting the stroke of the clutch pedal to a position nearer the footboards since there is room to spare there, so that the result is to increase comfort, with one foot on the clutch pedal, and one on the accelerator pedal, while the somewhat uncomfortable position of the brake pedal is only experienced occasionally, when applying the brake. As this alteration can be easily carried out, Mr. Royce would like it tried as soon as possiblem and we send you N.sch.1219 shewing it.

Instead of the sheet metal stop which we have used on the "D" pedals Mr. Royce would prefer to continue to stop against the footboards and we have indicated a metal pad with a certain amount of adjustment against which the brake pedal can strike.
