S/W. {Sales / Derby Works} Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Bentley Publicity. Cx {Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} 5/KW4.4.39. You will no doubt have observed from to-day's "Motor", that we succeeded in getting inserted your suggested reply to a letter that had appeared in the "Motor" correspondence columns. When talking to Gry {Shadwell Grylls} on the telephone about this a few days ago, I asked whether you had any further letters with suitable contents which we could endeavour to get inserted in the "Autocar", so as to keep it going in their columns. I understood from Gry {Shadwell Grylls} that you had one or two such letters, but did not know whom you could ask to sign them and send them. I therefore suggested that we would be able to find somebody if you would let us have the letters. If you have any more, and will forward them, we will do our best to get them inserted.
