Re Bentley 60 Engine in Wraith III Chassis.

Water Connections - Section S190.
Fan - Section S220.

E.CD.1015 - Engine Mounting, Fan and Bottom Water Pipe.

Please receive herewith blue prints of the
following new drawings, detailed in accordance with
the above scheme.

Section S190.
EB.4437 Connection - Bottom Water Pipe
EB.4438 Bottom Water Connection
EB.4439 Water Pipe - Rad. to Engine
EB.4440 Clip - Water Pipe

Section S220.
EB.4441 Fan Spindle
EB.4442 Distance Piece - Bearings
EB.4444 Fan Hub
EB.4449 Locating Washer - Ball Bearing

Will you please instruct as required.

Referring to the above scheme (small section
through fan mounting) the parts forward of line D.D.
are to 25/30 LOP. E.60391, and those to the rear are
to B.60 LOP. EB.3949, except where modified.

This completes instructions for this section.

The scheme has been altered slightly to provide
a definite location for the fan through the rear ball
bearing by reducing the depth of the housing and adding
a location washer between the bearing and the cover.

A revised print of E.CD.1015 showing this
modification is attached to HFS's copy.

One set of HFS's blue prints attached to Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/Les's
copy of this memo.
