The existing main oil pressure spring gives an oil pressure of 30 lbs/sq.in. and to be on the safe side require this pressure to be 35 lbs/sq.in. We should therefore like you to draw out a stronger spring for the job and include this on the LOP. For your information, the requisite pressure can be obtained by stretching the existing spring E.88790 to 1.850" free length, which gives a loading of 4.5 lbs. at 1.000".
