Dear Hall,

Thank you for your letter of September 10th.

Brico rings were not fitted to the Bentley as we actually used Aerolite pistons, the rings for which are made by the London Piston Ring Co. If you want to talk to anybody about them, Mr. Brookes is the man and is located at the Works at Slough.

You will be pleased to hear that, although no policy is settled with regard to what is going to happen next year, we have managed to get it agreed that you can take your car up to Shelsley, and I am doing my best to ensure that you will have a good run.

I have the plugs etc. ready for you next time you come here.

I should like to have a talk to make sure the gear ratios are all right, if you care to ring me up. I tried to get you in London this morning without success.

Yours sincerely,
