6 CONTINENTAL B.V. UNITS.

In reply to your query re the specification of the above unit as different from B.V. production, we give herewith a list of these features.

(1) ECD.1368/1416, 1.75 induction system and 1.75" S.U. carbs. (H.6).

(2) Original Wraith size inlet valve 1.6 dia. EW.1429 with the cylinder head inlet seats opened up to suit.

(3) Hand controlled ignition distributor.

(4) Pistons .330 raised crown Aerolite and rings to LOP.EB.4757 (7.25 : 1 C.Ratio).

The unit in the Continental chassis (14.B.V.) has numerous non-standard features, but these are purely experimental and if satisfactory, are applicable to all the alum units.
