(Dict. 6th)

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your memo of the 1st inst., ref:-HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/LG addressed to Coventry and yours of the 27th ult., ref:-C3/C addressed to our London House, we regret having to again trouble you.

Acting upon the references given in yours of the 1st inst., we passed the correspondence along to our Technical Advisory Department. We have, however, heard from them to the effect that their letters bearing the references by you in yours of the 1st inst., deal with a matter having nothing whatever to do with the question of Mr. Knowles, and it will be appreciated therefore, if you will confirm that the references given by you are correct.

Reverting to yours of the 24th ult., we shall be glad to hear when the set of steel wheels taken from Chassis 62-EM were returned to us and also information as to whether they were sent to Coventry, Birmingham or to our London Houses.

Upon receipt of your reply we will again
