-3- (15) Air Cleaner - Remove air cleaner element and carefully wash in petrol or paraffin. (16) Sparking Plugs - Remove and clean sparking plugs, setting gaps to .030". Points for Attention Every 10,000 Miles. (1) Hydraulic Shock Absorbers - Inspect oil level, and add more if necessary, using small syringe. Use only correct oil (See page ....) (2) Governor Unit - Inspect oil level in Governor control housing. Use only correct oil. (See page ....) (3) Propellor Shaft - Grease the sliding joint at the front end of the propellor shaft, by means of the grease nipple, and the grease gun provided in the tool kit. (4) Fan - The fan belt should be adjusted, so that one side at a point equidistant from the pulleys may be moved transversly with the fingers not more than ½". Check and adjust if necessary. (5) Bye-Pass Oil Filter - Renew the bye-pass oil filter on the engine. (6) Petrol Filter - Remove and clean gauzes of petrol filter, and clean petrol filter sump. (See page ....) (7) Dynamo - Remove Dynamo cover, clean away brush dust and inspect brushes. Continued. | ||
