The B.V. bumper is considered too heavy for "Ripple". A bumper dimensioned as shown will save 10 lbs. per car. Such a bumper ran on 39.EX and is therefore recommended not only for "Ripple" but for all rationalised cars. A = 3" B = 1.7" C = .225" D = .130" The machining of the front bumper bracket needs a slight modification as 'B' has been reduced from 1.55 to 1.7.
