X634 BJ21/H21.7.22. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. Copies to H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} OJ. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} DY.{F R Danby} BP. Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} PN.{Mr Northey} [Stamp: RECEIVED (mirrored)] Complaints of Vibrations on 40/50 Chassis. With further reference to my memo. BJ13/H20.7.22, I have seen P.N. and understand that one of the alterations made to 107-MG which improved it was that the low speed jet was weakened three notches, and the valves received attention. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints}, Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} and I tried 107-MG with medium compression last night. It seems now to be a delightful car. Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} considers it the best Rolls-Royce he has ever been in. As soon as we have another car tuned up for demonstrating purposes we can arrange for you to show this car to R.{Sir Henry Royce} if it is considered desirable. B.J. | ||
