To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} 6093 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.11/JH.16.5.36. Experimental Brush-Holder RR. Sch. 904. As the result of tests, it is found that the spring D.75476, fitted to the brushholder in the above scheme, is much too weak. We require two springs, the same in length as D.75476, but to give a pressure on the brush from 14 to 16 ozs. This means that the new springs will have to be about 3 1/2 times as strong.
