Huckerby}8.2.39 and confirming our telephone conversation with Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} yesterday, we have to advise you that we have already obtained one of the latest type of Metropolitan Vickers Magnetic Testing Machines for the purpose of testing valve springs. This has only been obtained recently and is not yet in full use on production, but we hope to be in a position to test all valve springs by this means in the course of the next 10-14 days.
