Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/Ms. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} 6153 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC{R. Childs}9/R.21.3.39. We recently received from Master Radio Ltd. a "Master Seven" car radio set obtained on a trial or return basis, as per our memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC{R. Childs}14/JH.21.12.38. and their letter of the 13th January, 1939. This set has failed on the car after a very short trial, in that the "ON" and "OFF" switch in the set does not function properly. The standard of performance is poor, compared with the Ferranti, with regard to sensitivity and outside interference. The speaker easily overloads. Will you please return this set minus the control head for their examination and comments. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} | ||
