Description of Parts.
Origin. New Type of Servo Lining. To improve durability.
Experimental Test Report. This lining Ferodo Radially woven asbestos without brass impregnation, is not so efficient as cotton duck and is slightly more susceptible to oil but is a much more satisfactory job for mechanical strength.
Road Test Report. has done 25,000 miles on 25-HX. and is running on all expl. cars. The efficiency varies a little with temperature. We recommend that the oil flinging holes in the servo drum are deleted when this lining is standarised.
