[Handwritten at top left] To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. BJ27/H19.7.21. X4050 [crossed out] x3725 [crossed out] [Handwritten at top center] X4050 [Stamped at top right] [Circular stamp reading 'TO 1921' with a hand pointing to VII for July] RECEIVED. [Triangular stamp] [Typed text] Demountable rims for straight-sided tyres. Will you kindly let us know if the information we have as to the satisfaction of these rims applies to the exact type and make and design of rim we propose to use, also if it concerns the exact design and type and make of tyre we propose to use. If not, will you kindly let us know of any differences between what we know have been satisfactory and what we propose to fit as standard. What tests of these tyres have we made ourselves, and with what results in mileage? We all want to use these rims and tyres but it would be such an expensive disaster if we found later that there was anything wrong. We want to be very sure about our tests first. B.J.
