ADJUSTMENT OF HYDRAULIC DAMPERS.

A Depot Sheet is being circulated on this subject. In order that you can tackle the gentleman who has complained however, we are sending you a little advanced information. You can reduce the shock absorber load by increasing the washer under the valve caps. We are fitting shock absorbers that are now being produced with valve caps which will enable anybody adjusting the loads to work to the attached chart.

The first cars turned out however, cannot be adjusted to this chart because they have different valve caps. It will be necessary to remove them and try different washers X under the valve caps until, you get the loads you require.

We only send you the chart to give you a rough indication of how the loads can be varied by washers.
