9.B.V. BONNET.

In order to finally fit the Rover type bonnet up on this car it is necessary for the body to be fitted since the bonnet rests on the body at the rear and not on the dash as formerly. The car is shortly going to Park Wards for the body to be mounted at their Works, and the bonnet will have to be fitted there also. We have written Messrs. Park Wards as per attached copy of letter, and wish you to arrange for a fitter to go down to their Works (as soon as they indicate when they are ready) to carry out the necessary work.

We wish the attachment of various pieces to the bonnet to be carried out by spot welding wherever possible, instead of rivetting and the drawings call for this. The fitter in question, therefore, should arrange for such items to be attached by spot welding, either at Messrs. Park Ward or at any other plant which they may recommend, as you will see from the letter we have mentioned this point to Messrs. Park Ward.
