Mr. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham,
Rolls-Royce, Ltd.,
Derby, England.

Dear Mr. Robotham:

Your letter of May 24th, addressed to Mr. Saunders, has been turned over to me.

I am taking the matter up with our people at Detroit, to see whether or not it would be possible for us to grant your friend a license, and, as soon as I learn about the situation, I will be glad to communicate with you. I am leaving in about a week's time for a vacation, so that you probably will not hear from me very soon.

Yours very truly,

D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} B. Mecorney,
Executive Secretary,
HARRISON DIVISION
GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION.
