H.R. 925A (100 T) (S H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 798. 10-12-30) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 3947 ORIGINAL. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} R5/M6.7.22 FC JUL 7 1932 RECEIVED X4378 RE. GOSHAWK BATTERY BOX. It has occurred to me that the cause of the broken fixing is due to the battery being slack in the box. It is very difficult to see how this can be sufficiently tight to avoid it bumping or knocking endways, or sideways. I can only suggest a wedge made of 2 pieces of thin wood, with a piece of rubber jammed in between the box and the battery. It would require 3 such wedges - one at one end, and two along the sides.
