Messrs. Lendrum & Hartman Ltd.,
Buick House,
Albemarle Street,
LONDON, W.1.

For the attention of Capt. F.W.Hartman.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 17th July.

We understand that our Managing Director, Mr. A.F. Sidgreaves, has communicated with you with reference to the Cadillac and explained the conditions under which it has entered this country. He has all the information relating to this car.

With regard to the Buick, we have definitely cabled Olley to postpone the order which was placed with the Buick Factory.

If it could be arranged we should like to try one of the Buicks which you have in the country on Friday morning next, and if it comes up to our expectations we shall wish to purchase one. We shall not be in a particular hurry for the car, but if it would suit you to let us have one of the three already in this country we should be very happy to take advantage of your offer.

We anticipate that you will want to try the Cadillac 16 as soon as it is available, and if this cannot be arranged before it leaves London we should be very happy to put it at your disposal later on when convenient to yourselves.
