We are not satisfied with the freeness of the steering on 8-EX. We believe the trouble is due to the bedding of the worm and nut. We shall have, what we hope will be, the correct steering tomorrow. As the steering is the most important part of the car for testing, we do not wish to commence the 10,000 miles test until this is correct. We will telephone London as soon as this car is ready to be taken away for them to try. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
