We have also unwound two other coils with finer primaries and in each case the fault was due to bad overheating of the primary causing a secondary short circuit.
We have asked for two more coils to be unwound, when they are available, to be able to say definitely whether the break downs are due to faulty winding or to undue electrical stresses.
