To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} +8430 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG1 8.7.27. STEERING JOGGLES. X235 X8430 With reference to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}4/IM 2.7.27. Could you please amplify the test you require. Previously we found the best load on the ball end of the hydraulic steering damper lever was 75 lbs. which gave 50 lbs. at the steering lever radius. We know 192 lbs. at the damper ball end would make the steering impossibly heavy? I had no opportunity of talking to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} about this test.
