With further reference to your letter of the 17th instant, we are sorry we have not available a section of the new Firestone "R.O." type tyre in exactly the size in which you are interested, namely, 7.00/18 H.D. but are sending you under separate cover a section of this type of tyre in size 7.00/15 H.D. This section will show you the construction of the tyre but, needless to say, this section will not be sufficient to enable you to form an opinion as to the silent running of this tyre which, we understand, is one of your chief interests. We, therefore, respectfully suggest that you allow us to send you another set of 7.00/18 H.D. tyres - this time in the "R.O." type - so that you may have a full opportunity of proving how silent these tyres run in actual performance.
