With reference to the slight modification in the aluminium pistons, that is, the making of them thicker near the piston pin boss, should be a decided improvement. I shall be glad if you will sanction the passing on to the use of these (which are merely improved dimensions of the present piston) as soon as the Works can make it convenient.
