We have tested several forms of rubber squeegee wipers and also the "Mystic" Chemical Wiper. We have not found the rubber squeegee type very successful. The reason being that when the squeegee is operated it actually dries the wind screen. This means that immediately after it has been operated the glass becomes covered with rain spots. We consider it is quite wrong for a squeegee to dry the screen. The squeegee should be made with a very light pressure so that all it does is to form the rain drops into a sheet of water. After all, the only thing one can expect to do to improve the wind-screen when it is raining is to make the water run off in a sheet. We have found we get the best results with the "Mystic" Wiper. This is a felt pad impregnated with certain chemicals. If the "Mystic" wind-screen wiper is rubbed over the screen, it prevents any rain spots standing on the screen.
