To: EFC Order No. AD 60 Customer's No. X6005 Date: 7 June 1930 20/25 Dynamo N from 14 GN This machine which is of 48 coil high output type, ran 17300 miles in the car, mostly in France. There was no half-charge switching scheme fitted. The sheet insulation used in the machine is bakelaque. On removal from the car, the insulation was found to be O.K. brush dust accumulation being slight. The brush holder nuts were tightened up a fraction of a turn, but no more than could have been done on a standard machine. The brushes were free in the holders and fairly well bedded, though the positive had some dark bands across its face.
