(6122. EJJ. From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. c. to HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.7/MA.12.3.35. ELECTRICAL LABORATORY BATTERY. It is now 11 years since this battery was installed and the plates are now in such a condition that it is impossible to take any heavy discharges without excessive volt drop. Several cells have had new positive groups during this time but the original negatives are still in use although the makers only warrant 8 years life. We are in the position now that we urgently require new plates complete for each cell, also separators and dowels which will have to be renewed at the same time. Will you therefore please order for us from Messrs. Pritchett & Gold a complete set of plates for our 8 FALL cells. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
