Confirming the return of faulty Hobson K.S.Telegauge heads for a Phantom II chassis due to an incorrect glass taper.

RECEIVED SEP 27 re Phantom II Chassis - Hobson K.S.Telegauge Confirming our 'phone conversation of this morning with JT. We have sent six Hobson K.S.telegauge heads F81133 into the Stores for return to the suppliers. These six heads have the taper of the glass too badly exaggerated to be passable. This fault is referred to on page 2 of Messrs Hobson's letter of the 11th inst. reference TPS/AML and in paragraph 4 of our reply to them reference Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/MJ of the 25th inst.
