RE BENTLEY V.{VIENNA} CHASSIS The parts necessary to complete an additional five chassis have now been completely machined and are being despatched to Hythe Road. We have also arranged for two representatives, namely Messrs. Maddox and Hanson, to report to Hythe Road tomorrow morning. These people will proceed with the changing over of gearboxes and fitting the other parts necessary to complete the chassis Modifications quoted in Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/JS.{Mr Johnson's Secretary}27.4.40. will also be incorporated and it has been arranged that Hanson will bring the chassis up to Derby when completed, as he is an experienced tester should be in a position to report to LA.{L. A. Archer} on arrival when the final passing off can be done with the least possible delay. JRD. | ||
